VR storytelling techniques aren't currently relying on expressive camera movement or fast editing. In contrast, good old theater celebrates a comeback. Stage directors know how to use a room, how to position actors, how to attract the audience's attention. Chong Wang has become the leading force of Chinese experimental theatre for his explorations in multimedia performance and documentary theatre. In this workshop he will teach you the basics: How to stage and to make use of the room for telling stories in VR.
