Only three spots worldwide offer the opportunity for volumetric video capture and creation – since this June Potsdam is, next to London and San Francisco, one of them: with Volucap! State of the art immersive experiences that do not need any more complex rebuilding of objects and characters. They are simply filmed in the Volucap studio. Walk-in film worlds are not only a future of the entertainment industry, 360-degree formats will be used in and hence transform medicine, science, health, fashion, automotive manufacture all the way to the construction industry. This inspirational session introduces the magical world of Volucap, followed by a discussion of the founders on how the idea become a marketable reality and which new business scenarios open up beyond entertainment. Volucap studio can be explored with guided tours on MediaTech Con days.
